What makes Downingwood so special?

Where do we begin?

Nestled on 34 lush acres in the picturesque Village of Irvington, Downingwood consists of 115 unique townhouses, ranging is size from 1800 to 2200 square feet, with 2-3 bedrooms and 1½ to 2½ baths.  A clubhouse, tennis/pickleball courts, a gym, swimming pool, and a seasonal greenhouse are among the amenities available to residents.

Our family-friendly community is conveniently located  5 minutes from the MetroNorth station (40 minutes to NYC), major highways, the Mario Cuomo Bridge, and downtown White Plains. Irvington's historic town center with its award-winning restaurants and scenic parks overlooking the Hudson are a few minutes drive.  The beautiful Halsey Pond Nature Preserve borders Downingwood on one side, and  the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail (popular with walkers, runners, and cyclists) is minutes away.

 Irvington—a very un-suburban suburb

This historic town occupies less than 3 square miles, yet is packed with great restaurants, mom & pop shops, scenic parks —one just for residents— and gorgeous river views. It's entirely walkable, and has a laid-back vibe that belies a vibrant and engaging culture, not to mention a long history of community activism.  The village is also home to the celebrated Irvington Town Hall Theater, a jewel-box of a performance space built in 1902.
